Race is Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 10am.Open to runners of all ages. Your fans get in free, but must be in the zoo by 10am on race day. Race course is 5K (3.1 miles) with a time limit of 90 minutes. Each finisher receives a polar bear mug, finisher's ribbon and hot cocoa at finish line. Bib and goodie pickup on Thursday, January 15 from 4-7pm at the Zoo Gateway Hall. Mandatory race meeting for all runners at 9:45am at the start line on race day.
Adult Registration (ages 18 and over): $45 per adultYouth Registration (ages 17 and under): $30 per youth
Zoo Lights, they're big, bright, and beautiful. Talk about a winter wonderland! The Alaska's Zoo's parade of animal lights are more colorful and dazzling than ever. Open to all ages. Sponsored by BP, Wells Fargo, Movin 105.7 and KTUU Channel 2.
2014/2015 ZOO LIGHTS SCHEDULE:Nov.28-Jan.31:Thursdays to Sundays weekly from 5-8pm.Christmas Break Bonus (Dec.18-Jan.4): Open nightly, 7 days a week, 5-8pm (closed Dec.25).Feb.1-Mar.8: Thursdays to Sundays weekly from 6:30-8:30pm.
